Owner & Care Provider

Hi, I'm Eden!

I provide calm, confident and knowledgeable pet care across Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the surrounding areas. I've grown up with animals my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats and horses.

I'm currently studying the T Level in Animal Management & Behaviour at Hartpury College, where I work directly with dogs, cats, small animals and reptiles. My course gives me detailed knowledge of behaviour, welfare, enrichment and safe handling.

My Animal Background

A lifelong connection with domestic and working animals

  • I've had pets all my life - dogs, cats and horses
  • I currently own two rescue dogs, so I'm very experienced with nervous, timid and confidence-building handling
  • I also have a cat called Monkey, who keeps me well-practised in feline routines and enrichment
  • My family owns two horses - a young Shetland pony and a retired polo pony - and I help care for them daily
  • I'm an experienced horse rider and I competed in pony racing before my GCSEs, which gave me excellent balance, confidence and discipline around horses
  • I have strong stable management skills including feeding, grooming, mucking out, turnout and welfare checks

My Practical Experience

Professional training, daycare routines, and formal education

I work part-time at a doggie daycare centre, helping with daily routines, safe group play and supervised handling

In the final stages of completing a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma through New Skills Academy

I spent three years in a Youth Dog Trainer Programme at a local Dog Training Academy in Cheltenham, where I learned:

  • Basic training foundations
  • Positive reinforcement techniques
  • Behaviour observation
  • Handling a wide range of breeds and temperaments

My Future Goals

Long-term commitment to canine welfare and guide dog mobility

"I plan to study the BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour & Training Canine (Clinical) degree at Hartpury University. My dream is to work for Guide Dogs for the Blind as a Dog Trainer or Mobility Specialist."
